Each Friday from May 15th to Sept 25th 2015, the residents of the Chaleur region are invited to get to work, school or to run errands by walking or cycling.

A prize will be randomly drawn each Friday among the participants. A volunteer from each workplace is encouraged to gather the names of the participants on a list that will be forwarded to us by E-mail at the end of the day.

Even better, make it a habit of doing active transportation every day. The risk of obesity goes up by 6% for every hour spent in a car / day and goes down by 5% each km walked / day. 19% of cyclists vs 2% of drivers report their commute as the most pleasant activity of the day.
